I had a crazy craving for some pizza the other day and I knew exactly where to go.

If you haven't heard of Pizzeria Delfina yet then you must go!

They have a couple locations throughout The Bay, specifically, two in San Francisco, one in Palo Alto and the one I always go to in Burlingame.

I have been to the Burlingame location a few times now and it's really cute and the food is delicious.

They have indoor and outdoor seating in the front and back of the restaurant.

Inside they also have bar seating.

*Note: this location does not serve hard alcohol just beer and wines.

My friend and I went in on a Thursday evening around 6 and they were all booked at the moment, but they offered us bar seating.

Since we were hungry we decided not to wait for 20 minutes and chose to sit at the bar.

Bar seating offers all the same menu options if you were to sit at a table.

My friend and I each ordered a beer and pizza.

I ordered the Bare Bottle Lager and my friend ordered the Fort Point KSA Kolsch.

They were good light beers.

We didn't want anything too heavy or filling just refreshing to cool off on that hot summer evening.

For pizza I ordered the Prosciutto Pie which had Prosciutto di Parma, caciocavallo, mozzarella, panna, and a ton of arugula sprinkled on top.

This is one of my favorite choices at Delfina because I love the saltiness of prosciutto and the pepper flavoring of the arugula.

It's a simple pizza but always very filling.

My friend ordered the 4 Formaggi and added the house-made fennel sausage to her pizza.

This pizza was so delicious my friend shared a slice with me and it was sooooo cheesy and the sausage added great flavor to a simple cheese pizza.

If you are ever in the downtown Burlingame area or in any of the other spots where they have a Pizzeria Delfina I highly recommend checking it out.

You will not be disappointed!
